JEFF RECOMMENDED!

Another ambitious musical by the Tony Award winning team that brought you ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, RAGTIME, and A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, DESSA ROSE is a powerful musical based on the lives of two women that actually lived in the antebellum Deep South. Almost entirely sung through, DESSA ROSE is a truly powerful tale of courage, humanity, trust, and friendship. This is the Mid-west premiere.
