Parking & Directions
Apple Tree Theatre is now located in the Karger Center (1850 Green Bay Road) just north of Sunset Foods in Highland Park. Turn down the driveway behind (north) Sunset Foods and the theatre is the second building down that drive.
Parking is available at the North Water Tower parking lot next to the Karger Center. This lot has a 2 hour limit on weekdays until 5:00 PM. After 5:00 PM and weekends, it is free. There is also a parking lot located under Renaissance Place across the street on Green Bay Road that offers 3 hour free parking.
From Chicago: I-94 West, Edens Expressway to US-41
North; exit Central Avenue East to Green Bay Road; left on Green Bay
Road; left just after Sunset Foods to the theatre.
From Milwaukee: I-94 East to US-41 South; exit Park
Avenue East to Green Bay Road; turn right on Green Bay Road; cross Elm Place; turn right just after the mid-block traffic light to the theatre.
Metra: Union Pacific/North Line, Chicago to Kenosha;
get off train at downtown Highland park stop; walk 1 block
north (direction of the train) to Central Avenue; walk west on Central Avenue (left) for 3 blocks; walk north on Green Bay Road (right) for just half a block and the theatre will be on the west side of the street just behind Sunset Foods.
